Eat Your Art Out is now a regular event!

Hey everyone! Big announcement! Remember that wonderful, awesome event we held a little while back called Eat Your Art Out? Well the Franklin County Arts Council is making that a regular thing! Every 4th Thursday we will be having our meeting at the FCAC Building in Louisburg at 7:00pm. Starting August 25, 2011. Please come join us and bring your friends! I can't wait!

Eat Your Art Out Video!

Success!

The Eat Your Art Event was a success! We had a great turn out! So many great artists! Painters, song writers, a baker (we got to eat that art!), musicians, sketch artists, photographers, and dancers! It was great! And even though so many of us differed in art forms we all wanted to grow this student arts council in Franklin County! I can't wait for the next event like this! It just blows me away! And a little update! Soon the students will get to paint the outside walls with creative freedom! I will keep the blog updated about that! It is going to be great!

What this blog is for!

I realize I have not clarified what this blog is for! This blog has been created for any and all Franklin or surrounding county teens to show off their abilities! If you write please feel free to send us something you have written to publish here! :) Plus send in any photos for you photographers! If you have paintings that you are putting in an exhibit or have a dance event coming up let me know and I can put your event on the blog under the events tab! Or really any other art forms you are into! We would love to hear something new! :) Please leave a comment here or email me at studentartscouncil@gmail.com to have something posted on the blog. Plus there will soon be a display area set up just for the students in the Franklin County Arts Council building and I will be keeping the blog updated about what is going on there! We really love all of the enthusiasm we have been receiving! I can't wait to see what this becomes! :) Thank you!

Getting ready for Eat Your Art Out

Our next event is this Thursday at 7:00pm! Eat Your Art Out! I think it is going to be amazing! The Arts Council building is undergoing some awesome clean up and touch ups! The yard is being cleaned and walls are being painted! The place is looking great! Everyone is figuring out what piece of art they have made they are going to bring! Someone is bringing a beautiful cake and someone else is bringing a cool stuffed monster they made! I have not decided what I will bring yet but it is going to be an awesome night! Make sure you put it on your calenders! July 14th at 7:00pm! And the FCAC building in Louisburg! I can't wait to see all of the art and artists that turn out!
